Schedule
Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00). Every other weekend required.
Assignment Details
32-bed unit with an average daily census of 21 patients. Contracts available for a minimum of 8 weeks.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience; first-timers are accepted.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Experience with patient populations from adults to geriatrics.
Familiarity with Epic, Pyxis, SBAR, AirVo, BiPap, and CPAP systems.
Responsibilities
Provide nursing care to patients recovering from surgical procedures including CABG and thoracic surgeries.
Monitor and manage patients with respiratory failure and cardiac arrhythmias.
Assist in the care of patients with various conditions including DKA, trauma, CVA, renal, GI disorders, and sepsis.
Utilize multiple treatment modalities, excluding invasive mechanical ventilation.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.
