Schedule
Shifts include Saturday and Sunday with one weekday option. Day shifts are 3x12 hours from 06:30 to 19:00. Every other weekend is required, with potential weekend call depending on assigned shifts.
Assignment Details
Contract length and guaranteed hours will be discussed upon application. Maximum 7 days of requested time off (RTO) allowed. There are 17 operating room rooms available with a patient ratio of 1:1.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience; 1st timers are also accepted
BLS certification is required; ACLS certification is preferred
Experience required in Orthopedic and Neuro nursing; ability to circulate and perform conscious sedation is necessary
Scrub and trauma experience is preferred
Familiarity with Pyxis and Epic systems is preferred
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care to a diverse patient population, from pediatrics to geriatrics
Assist in surgical procedures and maintain sterile field
Monitor patient vitals and manage postoperative care
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure quality patient outcomes
Participate in ongoing training and education opportunities
