Schedule
Night 3x12-Hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00) with every other weekend required.
Assignment Details
Contract length varies; maximum RTO is 7 days. The average daily census is 21 in a 32 bed unit.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience; first-time travelers are accepted.
Certifications required: BLS and ACLS.
Experience with Epic, Pyxis, SBAR, AirVo, BiPap, CPAP is preferred.
Ability to care for adult to geriatric patient populations.
Responsibilities
Administer patient care for a variety of conditions including post-op CABG, thoracic and vascular surgeries.
Manage respiratory failure with multiple treatment modalities.
Monitor and intervene for cardiac arrhythmias, DKA, GI bleed, trauma, CVA, seizures, metabolic disorders, renal failure, and sepsis.
Utilize effective communication and teamwork within the unit to ensure patient safety and quality care.

Compliance / Notes
Full compliance is required to start on time. If not compliant, start date may be pushed back by 2 weeks due to orientation scheduling. Travelers are expected to work on major holidays if they fall within their assignment period.
