Description:
Minimum of 2 years of experience is required.
First-time travelers are accepted.
Patient population ranges from pediatrics to geriatrics.
General skills in orthopedic and neuro procedures are essential.
The nurse must be able to circulate and perform conscious sedation.
Scrubbing and trauma experience are preferred.
The patient ratio is 1:1 in 17 operating room suites.
Experience with unit systems such as Pyxis and Epic is preferred.
Scrub colors will be provided by the facility.
Maximum of 7 days of requested time off will be accepted.
Every other weekend availability is expected unless otherwise specified.
Weekend call may be required, depending on the assigned shift.
Call requirements include 6 call shifts in 6 weeks, which vary by assigned shift.
Holidays worked are based on major holiday occurrences during the assignment period.
Full compliance is required prior to the start date in order to begin on time.
Candidates will be reviewed for clinical fit before proceeding to the hiring manager for final decision.
Locals are accepted at the same rate.
