Night shift: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00), including weekend coverage.
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to critically ill patients. The nurse will be responsible for the management of patients with complex health conditions, including multi-system organ dysfunction and failure. Strong technical skills and the ability to interpret dysrhythmias and care for ventilated patients are essential.
Responsibilities
Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure.
Care and management of ventilated patients.
Continuous IV sedation and titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips.
Management of arterial and central lines.
Interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs).
Providing care in accordance with evidence-based practices and hospital protocols.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Current RN license to practice in South Carolina.
Minimum of 1 year of ICU nursing experience required.
Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
Capability to float to other units as needed.
