3x12-hour shifts, Days (07:00 - 19:00). Weekend coverage is required.
Job Description
The ICU Registered Nurse will provide critical care to patients requiring intensive monitoring and treatment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure and will work within a dynamic interdisciplinary team to deliver quality healthcare.
Responsibilities
Management of patients with complex medical needs including continuous IV sedation and titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips.
Caring for ventilated patients, including BiPAP/CPAP management and interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs).
Performing advanced procedures such as arterial line management and central line care.
Participating in multidisciplinary rounds and collaborating with allied health professionals.
Maintaining effective communication with patients and families regarding care plans and interventions.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 1 year of ICU nursing experience.
Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are required.
Must have a valid SC nursing license at the time of submission; no pending licenses are accepted.
Experience with EPIC charting is preferred.
