Freight Dispatcher
DS Transport Express is looking for a talented freight dispatcher able to work full-time from our office in Breinigsville, PA.
We are a family-owned trucking company operating interstate dry van and reefer equipment. We are looking for someone who is professional and interested in building a career in the freight industry.
Responsibilities
• Dispatch drivers
• Hunt for and negotiate freight with brokers
• Plan loads and driver schedules
• Track pickups, deliveries and driver ETAs
• Communicate with drivers throughout the day
• Handle appointment times, delays, detention and load issues
• Update load info and company systems
• Work with management on truck utilization and revenue
• Build relationships with brokers and customers
• Help solve problems quickly when issues happen on the road

• Motivated to learn and grow the company
Trucking, logistics, or supply-chain experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, on-site in Breinigsville, PA
