CT Technologist - Night Shift
Role Overview: A CT Tech I is responsible for performing computed tomography procedures, administering ionizing radiation for diagnosis, therapy, or research, and assisting licensed practitioners with interventional procedures.
Key Responsibilities
• Ensure correct patient identification, proper preparation, and accurate documentation of clinical history.
• Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and prioritize patient safety following ALARA principles.
• Prepare and administer medications via vascular access as prescribed, and evaluate images for quality and proper positioning.
• Assist and educate students and healthcare providers, and support interventional CT procedures.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and institutional policies related to radiation and medication administration.
Qualifications & Skills
• Certification by ARRT or NMTCB required upon hire; new graduates must obtain certification before starting.
• Completion of a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology.
• Ability to perform CT procedures independently and monitor image quality.
