CT Technologist - Per Diem
Role Overview: CT Technologists are responsible for performing computed tomography and molecular imaging procedures to assist in diagnosis, therapy, and research. They independently operate imaging equipment, prepare and administer medications, and ensure patient safety by following protocols and ALARA principles.
Key Responsibilities: Obtain correct patient orders, identify and prepare patients, verify clinical history, and optimize imaging quality. They evaluate images, assist with interventional procedures, monitor and educate students and healthcare providers, and participate in quality improvement activities.
Qualifications & Skills: Certification by ARRT or NMTCB with ARRT-CT required. Education includes a graduate from a Radiologic Technology program; a Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred. Demonstrates proficiency in routine and complex duties, adherence to policies, and commitment to safety and quality standards.
