Quality Assurance Manager
Adelphia Seafood, a growing wholesale and retail seafood distributor, is seeking a Manager of Quality Assurance . This key management position will oversee the quality and safety of all daily operations. The responsibilities include leading the food safety system as the on-site SQF (Safe Quality Food) Practitioner. Create and/or revise all food safety and HACCP Plan documentation in accordance with the SQF Code. Performs regularly scheduled GMP and internal audits. Experience in production and purchasing oversight is a plus. Must have an SQF certificate or equivalent . The ideal candidate will be reliable, energetic, and highly motivated. Prior work history within the food industry, preferably with management or supervisory responsibilities, is required.
