Role Description The Commercial Portfolio Manager is a full-time, on-site position based in West Lawn, PA. This role is responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial lending relationships, including ongoing credit monitoring, risk assessment, and performance evaluation of commercial loans. The Commercial Portfolio Manager collaborates with relationship managers to support client needs, prepares and analyzes financial statements and cash flow projections, and assists in structuring credit solutions that align with bank policies. Daily responsibilities include reviewing covenant compliance, preparing credit memos and annual reviews, addressing portfolio exceptions, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal risk management standards. The role also involves direct communication with clients to gather information, respond to inquiries, and support long-term relationship growth while maintaining a high level of service and professionalism.
Qualifications
• Strong commercial credit analysis and risk assessment skills, including experience reviewing financial statements, cash flow, and collateral.
• Proficiency with portfolio management practices, loan documentation, and underwriting processes in a commercial banking environment.
• Solid knowledge of banking regulations, lending policies, and compliance requirements relevant to commercial lending.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients, colleagues, and cross-functional teams.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Comfort with financial and banking software systems, spreadsheets, and data analysis tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field; relevant commercial banking or credit experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work on-site in a collaborative environment and maintain confidentiality and ethical standards.
