We’re hiring a Safety Coordinator for our manufacturing client in Fleetwood, PA. This role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on workplace safety while working closely with employees, leadership, and EHS teams. Hire Type: Temporary (potential for Temp-to-Hire) Pay: DOE Location: Fleetwood, PA Responsibilities: Coordinate safety onboarding and ongoing training for employees, visitors, contractors, and temporary workers. Promote a strong safety culture through training, communication, engagement, and visible leadership on the shop floor. Maintain OSHA-compliant accident, injury, near-miss, training, and safety records; support audits and regulatory reporting. Conduct incident investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions, safety audits, inspections, hazard assessments, and job safety analyses. Support site safety policies and programs, including SDS documentation, hazard communication, and compliance with OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and ANSI requirements. Track corrective actions and key safety metrics, including TRIR, DART, near misses, and training completion. Qualifications: Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience. 3+ years of safety or EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment; chemical manufacturing, pigments, dyes, coatings, or specialty chemicals experience preferred. Working knowledge of OSHA and general industrial safety requirements; familiarity with EPA, NFPA, ANSI, and hazard communication requirements preferred. OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training preferred. Strong technology and Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across teams.
