Local employer seeking a dedicated and skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join their team in Reading, PA. As a vital member of the facilities management team, you will play a key role in ensuring that the facility operates smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and maintenance on facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. General carpentry. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues in a timely manner. Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment. Assist with facility renovations and improvements as needed. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of supplies. Collaborate with other team members and departments to support overall facility operations. Qualifications Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field. Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
