Job Title: Component Assembler (Light Mechanical) Location: Athens, GA 30601 Duration: 12 months Pay Range: $15.00 – $16.00/hour Shift: 1st Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM Job Description We are seeking Manufacturing Assemblers to perform simple, repeatable assembly operations involving large or medium-sized components. This position involves light mechanical assembly and does not require the use of machinery. Responsibilities Complete simple and repeatable assembly operations of large or medium-sized components. Follow established assembly instructions, procedures, and safety guidelines. Perform light mechanical assembly tasks accurately and efficiently. Inspect assembled components to ensure quality and proper completion. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Meet productivity and quality expectations. Work collaboratively with team members to support daily manufacturing operations. Follow all company safety and operational requirements. Work overtime as required based on business needs. Requirements Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is preferred. Ability to perform repetitive assembly tasks. Ability to work with large or medium-sized components. Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Ability to stand and perform physical tasks for extended periods. Ability to work the scheduled 1st shift and overtime when required. High School Diploma/GED preferred. No education verification required. Shift Details 1st Shift: 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday Overtime: May be required due to business demands.
