Responsibilities Assist in managing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) system management Lead and supervise retail staff, providing training, coaching, and performance feedback to foster a motivated team environment Oversee inventory management, including stock replenishment, merchandising, purchasing, and inventory control to ensure product availability and optimal stock levels Drive sales through effective customer engagement, upselling techniques, and promotional activities while ensuring excellent customer service standards Coordinate shift scheduling and manage operational tasks such as bookkeeping, payroll processing, and budgeting to optimize store efficiency Implement merchandising strategies aligned with company branding and sales goals to enhance product presentation Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing candidates and onboarding new employees Skills Proven management experience in retail or related industries with a focus on sales team leadership and operational oversight Strong communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively and manage managerial responsibilities confidently Excellent organizational skills for handling inventory control, scheduling, and administrative tasks such as bookkeeping and payroll Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math for accurate transactions and reporting Demonstrated ability in negotiation, pricing strategies, and purchasing to maximize profitability Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases effectively Experience in supervising retail staff within grocery stores or similar environments is highly desirable Knowledge of wireless sales or grocery store operations is advantageous Skilled in training & development techniques to enhance team performance and customer satisfaction Strong leadership qualities with a focus on operational management, sales management, and store management principles Join us as a Retail Assistant Manager where your leadership will shape the shopping experience while advancing your career in a vibrant retail environment!
