Creative Health Services, Inc. is seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep, safety, and functionality of our facilities. This position requires a hands-on individual with strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while responding to routine and urgent maintenance needs. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general building systems Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and repair priorities Respond promptly to maintenance requests and urgent repair issues Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors when specialized repairs are required Perform preventative maintenance to reduce equipment failure and facility downtime Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and organizational policies Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and supply usage Assist with room setup, furniture movement, and minor renovations or improvements Support emergency preparedness and facility safety initiatives Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Minimum of 2 years of experience in building maintenance, facilities management, or a related field Working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively Valid driver’s license Ability to pass required background checks Preferred Qualifications Vocational or technical training in maintenance, electrical, or HVAC Experience working in healthcare, behavioral health, or social service facilities Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks for extended periods Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Schedule & Compensation Full-time / Part-time (based on organizational needs) Competitive hourly rate based on experience Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and holidays (for eligible employees) Why Join Creative Health Services?
