Connelly Lawn & Garden, Inc., located in Sinking Spring, PA, is looking for an experienced turf specialist to join our team to help grow and manage our turf care division. The lawn care specialist's responsibilities include maintaining the lawns of private and corporate clients, maintaining athletic turf, applying fertilizer and pesticides, aerating, renovating turf, seeding, etc., as well as helping to oversee mowing operations and assist when necessary. Candidate must also maintain accurate records and follow state guidelines and standards. Clean driving record and valid PA driver's license are a must. Ideal candidate must have several years of industry commercial and residential mowing experience as well as Category 7 license or ability to obtain license within 45 days of hiring. Proficiency with fertilizer and chemical applications, as well as familiarity with Wright Stander, Walker, Ferris walk behind and zero turn, etc. Additional desired qualifications: A high school diploma or GED at a minimum A degree in landscaping, horticulture, or related field may be advantageous. Experience in lawn care and maintenance. Familiarity with lawn care equipment and tools. Experience in handling chemicals and a solid understanding of the safe use of pesticides. Manual dexterity, physical strength, and stamina. Attention to individual and team safety. Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
