Job Overview We are seeking a loving and warm individual to join our team as a classroom opener in our Pre-K1 room. As an Opener, you will play an important role in setting a positive tone for the day and ensuring a safe and engaging environment for children. You will be working a 6:30/7am-10:00am shift. Duties - Open the facility each morning and prepare the space for daily activities - Greet children and parents warmly as they arrive - Assist with morning routines such as breakfast and transitioning children to their respective areas - Engage children in age-appropriate activities to kick start their day - Ensure a safe and clean environment for all children - Collaborate with other staff members to coordinate schedules and activities Requirements - Experience working with children, including infant care - Knowledge of first aid procedures - Background in childcare, childhood development, or caregiving - Familiarity with special education practices is a plus - Previous experience in babysitting, nannying, or daycare settings - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Job Type: Part-time Pay: $15.50 - $16.50 per hour Work Location: In person
