Omega Protective Services – Reading, PA Omega Protective Services is seeking friendly, reliable, and responsible individuals to join our growing team as full-time security officer supervisors. Applicants must be Act 235 certified. In addition, a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, a clean criminal background, and at least two years of supervisory and/or leadership experience are mandatory. Furthermore, applicants must provide their own firearm, Level 2 or 3 duty holster, and any other tools for which they are authorized. Candidates may be required to stand/walk/sit for long periods of time and may be indoors and/or outdoors. Applicants should have good communication and people skills, be calm under pressure, and stay alert during shifts. This position generally works 9:30am to 6pm Monday through Friday, yet other responsibilities include communication with the customer, scheduling staff for the site, performing spot checks of the guards they supervise, and repositioning company vehicles as necessary. In addition, this role also ensures coverage by 2 additional staff (unarmed) who work overnight 7 days/week, 11pm until 6am.
