Overview: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Residential Home Elevation Project Manager to lead home elevation projects in Southwest Florida from initiation to completion. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including FEMA and HUD requirements, while delivering exceptional results for homeowners impacted by disaster recovery or mitigation efforts. Key responsibilities include project planning, budget and risk management, stakeholder coordination, and team leadership. The ideal candidate has a strong background in residential construction, regulatory compliance, and disaster recovery, with preferred certifications such as PMP or OSHA 30 and experience with FEMA or HUD programs. Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Oversee all aspects of residential home elevation projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and completion. Develop project timelines, budgets, and work plans to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery. Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other key stakeholders. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all applicable building codes and FEMA floodplain regulations. Obtain necessary permits and inspections throughout the project lifecycle. Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners, providing updates and addressing concerns. Liaise with local government agencies, funding authorities, and regulatory bodies. Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Maintain safety protocols on job sites to ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety standards. Budget and Resource Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and manage resources effectively. Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors to optimize cost efficiency. Team Leadership: Supervise field crews, subcontractors, and project support staff. Provide clear direction, resolve conflicts, and ensure quality standards are met. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project records, including change orders, progress reports, and financial documents. Prepare detailed project updates for internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required with relevant experience). Experience: Minimum of 5 years in residential construction project management, with specific experience in home elevation or disaster recovery projects preferred. Knowledge: Familiarity with FEMA, HUD CDBG-DR, or similar programs. Strong understanding of building codes and floodplain management regulations. Skills: Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for managing teams and engaging with clients. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Work Environment and Physical Demands: Work is performed both in an office setting and at active construction sites. Must be able to navigate uneven terrain and climb ladders when necessary. Compensation and Benefits: Competitive salary commensurate with experience. Bonus of 0%-35% of base salary.
