Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team for Waterstone Pizza and Shoemakers American Grille! In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes with precision and flair, ensuring every plate meets our standards of excellence. Whether working in a fast-paced restaurant environment or supporting special catering events, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional food service that delights every palate. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, presentation standards, and safety guidelines Assist in menu planning by providing input on ingredient selection and dish presentation Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage practices Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards Support meal preparation for various service types, including fine dining, catering, and regular restaurant service Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, ovens, grills, and other culinary tools Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth kitchen operations Skills Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or related roles within the food industry Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques Knowledge of meal preparation and food safety protocols Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent understanding of food handling standards and sanitation practices Previous restaurant experience or fine dining background highly desirable Skilled in catering support and serving during special events or large gatherings Join us to bring your culinary talents to life!
