Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Production Supervisor for the third shift to lead our manufacturing operations with enthusiasm and precision. In this role, you will oversee daily production activities, ensure safety standards are upheld, and drive continuous process improvements. Duties Supervise and coordinate the activities of production team members on the third shift, ensuring efficient operation of assembly lines and manufacturing processes. Monitor production schedules and adjust staffing or workflows as needed to meet output targets. Enforce safety protocols rigorously, ensuring all team members adhere to OSHA standards and company safety policies. Utilize measuring instruments, hand tools, power tools, and mechanical knowledge to support assembly line operations and troubleshoot issues promptly. Interpret technical drawings, manufacturing documents, and process instructions accurately to maintain quality standards. Manage inventory levels within the warehouse environment, including heavy lifting and manual handling of materials. Lead process improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality. Conduct regular safety inspections, enforce safety standards in production, and promote a culture of continuous safety awareness among team members. Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to team members to foster growth and maintain high morale. Collaborate with management on production planning, resource allocation, and implementing new manufacturing techniques or equipment upgrades. Qualifications Proven factory experience with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and assembly line operations. Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and interpreting technical drawings. Experience managing production or assembly teams in a fast-paced environment; prior supervisory experience is preferred. Knowledge of safety standards in production environments including OSHA regulations; commitment to maintaining a safe workplace. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and process improvement strategies. Ability to operate forklifts safely; forklift certification is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills with the ability to interpret manufacturing documents and manage multiple priorities effectively. Physical capability for heavy lifting, manual handling, standing for extended periods, and working in a warehouse setting. Technical proficiency with manufacturing management software or related systems is a plus.
