Job Title: Production Manager - Roofing and Exterior Solutions Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Production Manager to oversee our roofing and exterior solutions division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, particularly in roofing and exterior solutions, and will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards, safety protocols, and efficient workflows. Responsibilities: Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules for roofing and exterior solutions projects, taking into account timelines, resource allocation, and budget constraints. Coordinate with sales and estimating teams to ensure accurate project scopes and timelines. Team Management: Lead and manage a team of roofing and exterior solutions technicians, subcontractors, and support staff. Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Conduct regular team meetings to review project progress, address challenges, and identify areas for improvement. Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that all roofing and exterior solutions projects meet industry standards and client expectations. Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits to identify any issues or deficiencies and implement corrective actions as necessary. Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, codes, and standards, including OSHA requirements. Develop and enforce safety protocols and procedures to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries on job sites. Resource Management: Manage resources efficiently, including materials, equipment, and labor, to optimize project performance and minimize waste. Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to job sites. Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the duration of projects, providing regular updates on progress, addressing any concerns or questions, and ensuring overall client satisfaction. Budget Management: Monitor project budgets closely, tracking expenses and revenues, and identifying opportunities to optimize costs and improve profitability. Work closely with the finance department to prepare accurate project budgets and financial reports. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred). Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on roofing and exterior solutions. Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale roofing and exterior solutions projects from start to finish. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve project goals. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors. Thorough understanding of construction industry regulations, codes, and standards, with a commitment to safety and quality. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
