SUMMARY Responsible for all operations of the store, a major part of which is filling customer and employee retail orders. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Handle all personnel matters, including training scheduling, safety, etc. Maintain proper inventory levels to fill needs, order from plant or vendors, approve invoices, and rotate product. Ensure a clean, sanitary operation that meets all applicable code requirements. Monitor the budgeted versus actual financial results of the store. Work with accounting department to maintain proper controls over receipts, inventory, purchases, and supplies. Notify maintenance or vendors of any service or repairs needed. Any other matters not listed above that involve the store operations. Must be able to operate a cash register, computer, calculators, and all other store-related equipment. Take a proactive role in assuring safe, quality products are produced by immediately addressing any safety or quality concerns. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED). 2-4 years of experience in leadership. Previous retail store management experience preferred.
