Mushroom Grower – Night Shift We are looking for a dependable Night Grower with hands-on experience in agriculture, crop production, greenhouse operations, controlled-environment growing, or a similar production environment . This is an active, hands-on growing position responsible for monitoring crop and environmental conditions throughout the night. The Night Grower performs regular rounds through growing areas, monitors environmental controls, responds to changing conditions and alarms, documents findings, and supports growing activities to help maintain consistent crop conditions. Schedule: 5:00 PM–5:00 AM, 5 days per week. What You’ll Do Perform regular rounds through growing areas throughout the night. Monitor important growing conditions, including air temperature, compost temperature, humidity, CO₂, ventilation, and airflow . Monitor computerized environmental control systems and respond appropriately to alarms or changing conditions. Observe crops and growing rooms to identify changes or unusual conditions. Monitor rooms at different stages of the growing cycle and follow established growing programs. Make authorized environmental adjustments according to established procedures. Identify and report potential equipment, environmental, or crop-related issues. Communicate growing or equipment concerns to the appropriate Grower, Maintenance, or operations team. Document readings, observations, adjustments, alarms, and unusual growing conditions. Maintain clear communication with the daytime Growing team regarding overnight conditions and actions taken. Assist with hands-on growing and crop-related activities throughout the shift. Follow established growing programs, procedures, and safety requirements. Respond to changing priorities and growing conditions during the overnight shift. What We’re Looking For Previous hands-on experience in agriculture, crop production, greenhouse operations, horticulture, controlled-environment growing, or a similar production environment preferred Experience working directly with crops, growing environments, or hands-on agricultural/production operations. Strong observational and problem-solving skills. Ability to recognize changing conditions and determine when additional attention or escalation is needed. Ability to learn crop-specific growing parameters and environmental requirements. Comfortable performing hands-on and physically active work , including regularly walking through growing areas throughout a 12-hour shift. Able to work independently while following established growing programs and procedures. Strong attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping skills. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Comfortable working in agricultural environments with changing temperature and humidity conditions. Available to consistently work 5:00 PM–5:00 AM, 5 days per week. Valid driver’s license required.
