Registered Nurse - ICU (Part-Time)
Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU or Telemetry
Role Overview: Provide high-quality, safe patient care in an acute-care hospital setting, with responsibilities including assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions, administering medications and treatments, monitoring cardiac rhythms, collaborating with healthcare teams, maintaining accurate records, and educating patients and families.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver safe, high-quality care in ICU or Telemetry units
• Assess and respond to patient needs and treatment responses
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and specialized equipment
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain electronic medical records accurately and timely
• Follow hospital policies, infection control, and safety guidelines
• Educate patients and families about care and discharge instructions
• Demonstrate professionalism and adaptability in a dynamic environment
Qualifications & Skills
• Active Virginia RN license
• At least one year of recent ICU or Telemetry experience within the past two years
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association
• Recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test (within 12 months)
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
