Assistant Group Supervisor
The Assistant Group Supervisor supports the daily operation of the childcare classroom by creating a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for children. This position plans and implements age-appropriate activities, maintains required staff-to-child ratios, provides positive behavior guidance, and coordinates with classroom aides and volunteers. The Assistant Group Supervisor also communicates professionally with families, maintains program records and classroom organization, and ensures compliance with YMCA policies and Pennsylvania childcare regulations.
**Employees who work both before and after school shifts receive an additional $3 per hour**
