Purpose of the Position
To assist the stage manager with all things happening in the arena related to promotions. One of the most important things to the Royals is putting on a memorable, entertaining experience for our fans that creates a lasting memory. You are the driving force behind the fun at every game! You will contribute to this by helping organize and craft one of the best in-game experiences in the ECHL. This is a paid, gameday position ($70/game). Applicants must be local.
Responsibilities:
• Assist the stage manager with setting up the promotions for the night, including but not limited to concourse set-up, intermission activities, in-game sponsorship fulfillment, promotional items, etc
• Act as a secondary mascot when called upon
• Find contestants for in game contests
• Assist with the execution of pre-game and in-game elements and intermission activities
• Assist with tear-down or turnover preparation for the next game
• Adhere to all arena policies and procedures, as well as other duties assigned by management
• Keep promo closet containing giveaways, costumers, and promotion materials inventoried and organized
• You are expected to “buy in” to everything we do, and treat it with sincerity, but also be willing to provide feedback to your supervisor in the instance you think something can be improved
Skills/Qualifications:
• Expected to work all 36 home games, or as many as possible
• Outgoing personality and comfortable in front of and around crowds of people
