Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced HR leader to partner with the CHRO and site leadership in developing and executing HR strategy for large manufacturing sites. This role will oversee all aspects of HR, including employee relations, staffing, talent development, engagement, performance management, and workforce planning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead HR strategy and day-to-day HR operations for a large manufacturing workforce.
• Partner with senior leadership and managers on employee relations, investigations, performance management, staffing, and workforce planning.
• Drive employee engagement, retention, culture, and organizational development initiatives.
• Lead HR transformation, change management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coach and develop managers, HR professionals, and HR Business Partners.
• Monitor HR KPIs and use data to improve HR processes and business performance.
• Manage HR budgets, policies, programs, and compliance.
• Partner with recruiting, compensation, benefits, training, and other HR functions.
• Build strong relationships with employees and leadership while supporting a positive workplace culture.
What We're Looking For:
• 10+ years of HR experience , including 3–5 years in an HR leadership/Business Manager role .
• Strong experience in manufacturing, preferably heavy/industrial manufacturing .
• Previous experience supporting a large workforce of approximately 1,500 employees , primarily hourly.
• Strong background in employee relations, investigations, conflict resolution, and performance management .
• Experience influencing and partnering with senior operational leadership.
• Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor relations, staffing, compensation, and workforce planning.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Workday is a plus.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment and managing multiple priorities.
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Management, Industrial Relations, or related field required.
• Master's degree or MBA preferred.
Work Arrangement:
• Onsite 5 days per week
• Non-union manufacturing environment.
