Material Handler Supervisor | Macungie, PA
Pay: $40/hr. | 8.5 Hours per Day
Duties/Responsibilities
• Lead and coordinate material handling operations to ensure safe, efficient, and timely movement of materials
• Oversee inventory control, receiving, storage, shipping, material delivery, and production support
• Establish team priorities, monitor employee performance, and implement process improvements for safety, quality, delivery, cost
• Develop team through coaching, mentoring, training, and empowerment
• Use data and operational metrics to drive decisions and performance
• Anticipate and address problems proactively to avoid disruptions
• Maintain effective cross-shift communication with employees, peers, and leadership
• Drive standardization and consistency in material handling processes
Required Qualifications
• 2–5 years relevant experience in material handling or logistics leadership
• Ability to lead a team in dynamic warehousing or distribution environment
• Strong communication, coaching, and team development skills
• Demonstrated focus on safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Proficient with data-driven decision making and metrics management
Preferred Experience/Certifications
• Experience as Material Handling Supervisor, Logistics Manager/Lead, Supply Chain Manager/Lead, or Material Manager/Lead
• Process improvement or lean manufacturing exposure
• Track record in inventory control and shipping/receiving leadership
