Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Water Jet Operator, where you'll be at the forefront of precision fabrication and material processing. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate advanced water jet cutting equipment, ensuring high-quality results for a variety of projects. Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm + overtime Pay: $25-$29/hr BOE Duties : Set up and run waterjet cutting machines produce parts according to job orders and blueprints. Program machine controls using CAD/CAM or proprietary software to ensure accurate cutting paths. Monitor cutting parameters like water pressure, abrasive flow, and cutting speed to maintain quality and efficiency. Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, or laser scanners to verify tolerances. Perform routine maintenance, including changing abrasive media, cleaning nozzles, pump rebuilds and troubleshooting mechanical issues. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine dimensions, tolerances, and cutting sequences. Maintain a clean, safe workspace The operator will also be expected to run the press machines and other shop tasks depending on the workload.
