As a Receiving Operator , you'll play a critical role in ensuring the ingredients that go into our feed meet our high standards before they ever reach production. We're a 6th-generation, family-owned manufacturing company in Berks County, PA, and we're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented individual to join our team. What You'll Be Doing As our Receiving Operator, you'll help keep production moving by: Receiving incoming ingredients delivered by truck Inspecting trucks to ensure they are clean and free of contamination Collecting ingredient samples and performing quality checks Operating our computerized receiving system to unload ingredients into the correct storage bins Monitoring the unloading process to ensure ingredients are placed in the proper locations Completing receiving paperwork and maintaining accurate records Applying liquid treatments to corn when required Keeping the receiving area clean, organized, and safe Following food safety, quality, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) We're Looking For Someone Who Is Reliable and safety-minded Detail-oriented and takes pride in doing quality work Comfortable using computers and learning automated systems Able to work independently while staying focused Enjoys working both indoors and outdoors throughout the year Comfortable working at heights and climbing ladders Able to lift up to 100 pounds when needed Experience in manufacturing, grain handling, agriculture, or receiving is helpful—but not required.
