Manage classroom activities to ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding child progress, behavior, and developmental milestones. Incorporate child development principles and early intervention strategies into daily instruction. Maintain compliance with mandated reporting laws and ensure child welfare standards are met at all times. Prepare lesson plans aligned with educational standards and adapt activities to meet individual student needs. Requirements Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, including preschool or toddler care. Knowledge of childhood development, special education, early intervention, and literacy education. Strong classroom experience with an emphasis on classroom management and behavior management techniques. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and assessment tools used in early childhood education. Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members using excellent communication skills. Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in childhood development or special education are a plus. Demonstrated understanding of mandated reporting laws, child welfare practices, and physical education teaching methods.
