This role ensures a reliable, cost-effective, and compliant supply chain that supports engineering, manufacturing, and service operations while driving supplier performance, operational efficiency, and cross-functional collaboration across global operations. This position requires extensive experience in global procurement and logistics, along with excellent relationship-building, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills. What You'll Do Develop and execute a global supply chain strategy aligned with business objectives and operational requirements. Source, evaluate, qualify, and manage global suppliers to achieve quality, cost, delivery, and performance targets. Negotiate supplier contracts and long-term agreements to strengthen supply continuity and reduce commercial risk. Oversee international logistics operations, including freight management, import/export activities, customs compliance, and global trade regulations. Partner with engineering, manufacturing, project management, and customer service teams to ensure sourcing and logistics support operational priorities. Monitor supply chain performance, costs, supplier metrics, and potential risks, implementing continuous improvement initiatives where required. Track global market conditions, material availability, pricing trends, and regulatory changes to support strategic purchasing decisions. Drive supplier development, cost reduction, operational efficiency, and sustainability initiatives across the supply base. Manage strategic relationships and commercial agreements with key suppliers, vendors, and logistics providers. Support inventory planning and stock management strategies to maintain material availability while optimizing inventory levels. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related discipline. 10+ years of experience in global supply chain, procurement, sourcing, or logistics leadership within a manufacturing, industrial equipment, or capital equipment environment. Demonstrated success building, developing, and managing international supplier and vendor networks. Strong knowledge of global logistics, import/export regulations, customs procedures, and international trade compliance. Experience using ERP/MRP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred) with strong analytical and reporting skills to drive business decisions. Excellent commercial negotiation, communication, stakeholder management, and supplier relationship skills. Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams across multiple regions and international markets. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
