Every day, we produce bird seed and small animal food for retailers and pet owners across North America- and we're looking for a Packaging Machine Operate to help keep our production lines running safely and efficiently. Evening Shift Available 3:45pm - 12:15am What You'll Be Doing As a Packaging Operator, you'll be responsible for operating and monitoring our automated packaging equipment while helping your team produce quality products. Setting up and operating automated packaging equipment Reading production scheduled and preparing machines for each production run Adjusting machine settings to ensure products meet quality standards Monitoring the production line and quickly responding to jams or equipment issues Performing basic troubleshooting and making machine adjustments as needed Inspecting finished products for quality, weight, and appearance Removing defective products and documenting production results Completing production paperwork and entering information into the computer system Replenishing packaging materials and labels throughout the shift Working alongside production team members to meet daily production goals Rotating into packing and stacking duties as needed Following all safety, food safety, and quality standards We're Looking for Someone Who Is Mechanically inclined and enjoys learning how equipment works Detail-oriented and committed to producing quality products Reliable and takes pride in their work Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Able to work as part of a team while taking ownership of their production line Comfortable lifting up to 60 pounds throughout the shift Basic computer skills for production reporting and data entry Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience is preferred, but if you're mechanically inclined and eager to learn, we'll provide the training to help you succeed.
