Join the Peaks of Ptter team as a Maintenance Utility Associate, where you’ll help ensure our property remains safe, clean, and welcoming for guests year-round. This hands-on position is ideal for a dependable individual with a strong work ethic who enjoys working indoors and outdoors, handling general maintenance, repairs, groundskeeping, and facility support. The ideal candidate is team-oriented, detail-focused, and committed to providing exceptional service while helping maintain the comfort and charm of our lodge environment. Responsibilities: Lawncare and grounds keeping around the property. Receive and complete work orders, in a timely and efficient manner, as required by Maintenance Department policies and procedures. Must assist in the completion, tracking and reporting of work orders Duties may include general painting, carpentry, plumbing, minor electrical, masonry, landscaping maintenance, etc. Perform assigned maintenance and mechanical duties for buildings and associated facilities, furnishings and equipment as requested Capable of “hands on repairs” in most maintenance disciplines Comply with all safety policies and procedures including when lifting, climbing, etc. Be available to assist other team members with maintenance related tasks Polite, knowledgeable and timely customer service when responding to visitor inquiries Position Requirements: Demonstrate basic skill in the use of tools, materials and equipment common to maintenance and repair Possess the initiative to learn and willingness to grow in maintenance operations Understand and effectively follow oral and written instructions Must be able to work on ladders, scaffolding, elevated platforms or crawl spaces, tunnels, ledges and roofs and understand the OSHA safety requirements as applicable Ability to work as part of a team Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts Ability to lift and carry 25 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. occasionally Must have a valid driver’s license to operate vehicles throughout property Education and Experience: Education: High school Diploma or equivalent Experience: 1 year of general maintenance experience Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability or protected veteran status and all other status protected by law.
