Responsibilities Assist in managing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS system management Lead and supervise retail sales teams by providing training, coaching, and performance feedback to foster a high-energy, customer-focused environment Oversee inventory management, including stock replenishment, merchandising, purchasing, and inventory control to optimize product availability and presentation Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing candidates and onboarding new employees with a focus on employee orientation and development Ensure excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining positive customer relations Manage shift schedules, monitor sales targets, and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed store goals Maintain accurate bookkeeping records, payroll processing support, and assist with budgeting activities to ensure operational efficiency Qualifications Proven experience in retail management or as an assistant manager within a retail environment with supervisory responsibilities Strong knowledge of POS systems, inventory management software, and basic math skills for cash handling and sales calculations Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively and manage managerial communication across departments Demonstrated leadership qualities with experience in supervising staff, training & development, and operational management Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer bases effectively Familiarity with retail industry sales team management, merchandising, pricing strategies, and marketing concepts Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently with strong organizational skills and time management capabilities Experience in grocery or specialty retail stores is advantageous but not mandatory Join us if you're ready to energize your career in retail management!
