Responsibilities Assist maintenance technicians with routine mechanical, electrical, and plumbing repairs. Support preventive maintenance, facility upkeep, and equipment-related projects. Safely operate basic hand tools and power tools. Measure and mark materials accurately using a tape measure. Complete daily timesheets and update work orders accurately. Use basic computer applications to log time, review email, and access maintenance requests. Keep work areas, tools, and the maintenance shop clean, organized, and properly stocked. Follow all safety procedures, instructions, and facility guidelines. Assist with indoor and outdoor maintenance activities as assigned. Work additional hours and overtime based on operational needs. Qualifications Fundamental understanding of basic mechanical, electrical, and plumbing concepts. Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools. Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure. Basic computer skills, including email, data entry, and digital timesheets. Ability to communicate effectively in English. Strong attention to detail, reliability, and willingness to learn. Ability to follow safety procedures and verbal and written instructions. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry tools or materials as needed. Ability to work approximately 50–60 hours per week, including overtime. Comfort working in indoor and outdoor environments alongside technical staff.
