Responsibilities *Provide personal care and assistance to clients in their homes. Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation. Provide medication reminders as directed. Support individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, or other special needs. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment. Implement behavior support strategies when needed. Transport clients to appointments, community activities, or outings when required. Protect client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations. Promote client independence, dignity, safety, and well-being. Communicate effectively with family members, supervisors, nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals. Qualifications Previous caregiving, home care, nursing assistant, childcare, or direct support experience is preferred. Experience supporting individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Dependable, compassionate, and patient. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable transportation is preferred.
