Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated Civil Structural Design Engineer to lead the design and analysis of crane-supporting structures, associated components, and building systems. This role emphasizes steel and concrete design while managing projects from concept through completion. The ideal candidate will collaborate across teams, ensure compliance with all applicable standards, and deliver high-quality solutions that meet customer needs, timelines, and budgets. Job Responsibilities: Perform structural design and analysis of crane-supporting structures, foundations, and building systems using steel and concrete design principles Ensure all engineering work complies with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications (AISC, ACI, OSHA, etc.) Develop calculations, drawings, and technical documentation to support designs Coordinate with the sales team to develop project scopes, budgets, and proposals Manage projects from initiation through completion, including planning, scheduling, and execution Oversee material procurement, including preparation of material orders and coordination of deliveries Direct and supervise subcontractors, field personnel, and technicians to ensure safe and efficient project execution Monitor project schedules and budgets to meet customer expectations and company goals Collect, analyze, and interpret field and design data to support engineering decisions Prepare and review project documentation including reports, invoicing, and closeout packages Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines Respond quickly and effectively to design challenges and field issues Ensure compliance with company safety policies, customer requirements, and OSHA regulations Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field 3+ years of experience in structural design and project engineering (or level adjusted based on candidate) Strong knowledge of steel and concrete design codes (AISC, ACI) Experience with structural analysis and design software (e.g., RISA, STAAD, SAP2000, or similar) Ability to develop and review structural calculations and drawings Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills Ability to interpret and apply technical data in design and field applications All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to the individual's race, color, sex, national origin, religion, age, disability, genetic information, status as a military veteran or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
