MEP Electrical Coordinator
Role Summary:
Independently executes day-to-day coordination with guidance from MEP-3; bridges owner project requirements with onsite activities and commissioning. Leads documentation, quality verification, and cross-trade communication; provides hands-on troubleshooting across electrical and basic mechanical/controls interfaces.
Core Responsibilities:
• Plan and coordinate installation means and methods aligned to design basis; verify compliance and quality.
• Interface with owner reps, subcontractors, FSRs, and commissioning agents; facilitate issue resolution and schedule alignment.
• Drive commissioning readiness (e.g., pre-functional checks, load-soak prep) and maintain structured reporting.
• Lead field documentation in Procore; manage punch lists, PTP verifications, and safety walkdowns (LOTO/PPE).
• Maintain documentation (photos, checklists, punch items) and communicate status/risks to project leadership and the customer.
• Serve as onsite point-of-contact when leadership is offsite; escalate issues and keep schedule moving.
Minimum Qualifications:
• 3–5 years construction experience (electrical preferred); 2 years trade school/college or journeyman equivalent.
• Proficient in Procore and Adobe/PDF editing; adept at reading blueprints/submittals/specs/one-lines.
• Working knowledge of ATS/UPS/switchgear; exposure to commissioning and EPMS/SCADA concepts.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to lift 40 lbs, and travel within North America as needed.
• Data Center/Mission Critical Facilities experience highly preferred
• Must be US Citizen and have the ability to obtain a clearance if needed
Certifications & Training (Preferred):
• OSHA 30, NFPA 70E, First Aid/CPR (within first 30 days if not current); Schneider PME certification a plus.
