With our continued growth, and expansion into the US Market, we're seeking a Video Editor, Videographer to join our Creative team in our Morgantown, PA offices, located just a mile off PA Turnpike exit 298.
The Video Editor-Videographer's role is to create engaging lifestyle and informational product videos by editing footage, custom motion graphics, and other creative elements into dynamic and high-impact videos to be used in a diverse array of media, venues, platforms, and audiences.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Production Process & Management
• Develop videos from pre-through post-production, storyboarding, videography, lighting, graphic development, editing, and laying soundtrack
• Provide accurate time estimates for each part of the process.
• Manage key deadlines and short turnarounds in a fast-paced environment.
• Support in sourcing, file prep, and delivery, and communications with freelancers, out-of-house production teams, editors, and videographers when projects require out-of-house resources; provide schedules, oversee outsourced projects, and review and gather approvals from parties before deployment.
• Adhere to established templates and brand guidelines for videography production and processes.
Editing
• Perform high-quality postproduction video editing, motion graphic editing, footage color correcting, and audio adjustment using assets including photography, footage, dialogue, sound effects, graphics, and special effects, all while ensuring the final package retains the mood, style, and delivery as specified.
• Edit diverse video formats from product commercials, marketing, interviews, testimonials, training, and short format videos for social media, blog posts, emails, and other marketing materials.
• Assemble and edit recorded raw material into live-action and stop-motion videos geared toward a young consumer demographic.
• Create and refine digital animations and videos for social media, blog posts, emails, and other marketing materials.
• Stay current with emerging editing technologies and industry best practices, consistently recommending innovations to enhance workflow and efficiency.
Videography
• Capture live-action, high-quality footage during basic to mid-level video capture sessions; by serving as camera operator/director of photography along with operating lighting and sound recording devices.
• Ensure videos are smooth running and logical in sequence.
• Design new on-brand visual elements to effectively convey concepts and messaging.
Collaboration
Collaborate:
• with decision makers from production through the post-production process to contribute the right assets for a project on time and to quality standards.
• effectively in one-on-one settings by actively seeking and incorporating feedback, while also demonstrating strong self-direction when working independently.
• closely with other brand teams to anticipate and avoid equipment overlap.
Assist with/in:
• the creation of concepts and storyboards and preparation of conceptual layouts for all types of videos including motion graphic projects.
• selecting appropriate audio, graphic, and animation styles for the project
• archiving, logging, and metadata tagging for video and photo assets.
• productions as needed, including shooting, audio, and lighting.
• Work with product marketing teams and creative teams to understand the project scope and objectives.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to share new design perspectives and ideas.
Other
• Oversee all aspects of gear management for in-house and on-location shoots, ensuring gear is properly stored post each shoot, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Proactively plan for contingencies, ensuring backup equipment is onsite in case of equipment failure.
• Perform other duties that fall within the video department, as needed by the organization.

Requirements and Qualifications
Experience, Knowledge & Education
• Five (5) to eight (8) years of experience editing and developing videos and digital motion graphics and running video captures with lighting and audio recording equipment.
• Demo reel or examples of work required.
• Demonstrated ability to develop concepts and write original video concepts.
Experience with:
• multimedia storytelling on multiple platforms.
• digital asset management systems for organizing, archiving, and retrieving video and multimedia assets efficiently.
• editing and post-production software to ensure footage consistently looks polished.
• archiving, logging, and metadata tagging for video and photo assets.
Comprehensive understanding of:
• digital mediums related to pre-and post-production,
• video capture, lighting, sound, and sound-mixing,
• industry-standard technical specs, formats, frame rates, codecs, and audio levels.
• file formats, sizes, applications, and terminology.
• shooting, DSLR cameras, lighting, sound, and sound-mixing.
Working knowledge of:
• the best types of videos for digital platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok and beyond.
• video accessibility standards (e.g., captioning, audio descriptions) to ensure content is inclusive.
• copyright, licensing, and usage rights for music, footage, and images used in video production.
• Familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing, a plus.
• Experience in a multi-national organization and consumer products, a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in film studies, production, graphic design, or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of training and work experience.

Proficient in the use of:
• Full Adobe Creative Suite on Mac systems, especially After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Audition.
• Object removal & cleanup tools.
• Microsoft Office Suite (including PowerPoint).
• Project Management platforms, Wrike preferred.
• Digital asset management systems, Media Valet preferred
Familiar with:
• Corporate travel systems, Navan preferred.
• Corporate credit card expense management software, BILL Spend & Expense preferred.
• Payroll systems, Paycom preferred.
• Excels in proficiently learning new software, tools, and technologies with ease.
Other
Ability to:
• work extended hours as business needs warrant, may on occasion include nights and weekends.
