Job Description:
FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST
Upper Macungie Township
Lehigh County, PA
Upper Macungie Township, Lehigh County, PA is seeking a highly organized, customer-focused individual for the position of Front Desk Receptionist.
This position serves as the first point of contact for the public and provides administrative support to various Township departments as needed.
Responsibilities include greeting and directing visitors, answering and routing incoming telephone calls, assisting the public with forms and general inquiries, preparing correspondence, filing, scanning, data entry, and performing other general office and clerical duties.
This is a full-time, non-exempt position.
The starting salary is $20.00-$22.00 per hour, commensurate with qualifications and experience, and includes an excellent benefits package.

Experience and Skills:
The successful candidate must possess a working knowledge of general office and clerical procedures.
Municipal government experience is preferred.
Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, exceptional customer service, strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team is essential.
Applicants must also be proficient with computers and standard office software.
Qualified applicants must have a m inimum of two (2) years of administrative or clerical experience.
The selected candidate must successfully complete a pre-employment screening, background investigation, and credit check.
