In this role, you'll partner with clinicians and treatment teams to implement individualized behavior support plans, reinforce positive behaviors, and help adolescents develop the coping skills they need for long-term success. Rather than simply monitoring behavior, you'll actively help adolescents build healthier routines, improve emotional regulation, strengthen communication skills, and achieve meaningful treatment goals. Why This Role Is Different Build meaningful therapeutic relationships with the same youth over time Work within a highly structured residential treatment program Implement individualized behavior support plans developed by clinicians Gain valuable experience using evidence-based behavioral interventions Collaborate with licensed clinicians and experienced behavioral health professionals Play a direct role in helping adolescents achieve measurable progress What You'll Be Doing Implement individualized behavior support and treatment plans Provide one-to-one and group behavioral interventions Support youth throughout daily routines, education, recreation, and therapeutic programming Maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment Utilize approved crisis prevention and de-escalation techniques Observe, document, and report behavioral progress Collect behavioral data in accordance with treatment plans Complete daily notes, incident reports, and required documentation Support emotional regulation, coping skills, and positive behavior development Participate in treatment team meetings and ongoing professional training Maintain client confidentiality while following HIPAA and agency policies Qualifications Applicants must be at least 21 years old . Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree and/or Associate's degree together with one of the following: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Board Certified Autism Technician (BCAT) Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) Completion of a minimum 40-hour behavioral health or RBT-aligned training program OR A minimum of 2 years of documented behavioral health experience together with the required behavioral health training. Additional requirements: Valid driver's license Ability to pass criminal background clearances and a drug screening Ability to maintain required certifications, clearances, and ongoing training Experience working in behavioral health, mental health, residential treatment, youth services, autism services, human services, or related settings is highly preferred.
