Truck & Trailer Technician (Shop-based role) Location: Kutztown, PA. Our client, one of North America's largest privately owned transportation companies, is hiring an experienced Truck & Trailer Technician. What You'll Be Doing: Perform preventive maintenance on highway tractors, trailers, and fleet equipment Diagnose mechanical issues and complete efficient, high-quality repairs Complete repairs identified during inspections and preventive maintenance Troubleshoot recurring equipment issues and recommend long-term solutions Complete work orders accurately using the maintenance system Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Mentor and support apprentice and junior technicians What We're Looking For: 1+ year of experience repairing highway tractors, trailers, or heavy-duty diesel equipment Valid driver's licence Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Comfortable using computers to complete work orders Positive attitude with strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach Ability to safely perform the physical duties of a heavy-duty technician in a shop environment Technical training is considered an asset; equivalent hands-on experience will also be considered Compensation & Benefits: $30.00-$36.00/hour based on experience (+$1.00/hour afternoon shift premium) 4 x 10-hour work week (Monday-Thursday or Thursday-Sunday) or 5x 8's (M-F) Day and afternoon shifts available $1,000 annual tool allowance Annual boot reimbursement 401(k) company match Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits Group life insurance Paid time off Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Tuition reimbursement and ongoing career development Why Consider This Opportunity?
