We're looking for a Plant Safety Technician to help maintain a safe and compliant manufacturing environment. In this role, you'll partner with plant leadership and employees to promote workplace safety, conduct inspections, investigate incidents, deliver training, and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards. Responsibilities Conduct routine safety inspections and identify workplace hazards. Investigate accidents, near misses, and safety incidents, recommending corrective actions. Monitor proper PPE usage and ensure compliance with safety procedures. Maintain OSHA records, medical documentation, and safety reports. Coordinate and deliver employee safety training, including orientation, PPE, emergency response, and ergonomics. Participate on the plant safety committee and support safety audits. Promote a strong safety culture while ensuring compliance with OSHA, food safety, animal welfare, and company policies. Qualifications 1+ years of safety experience in a manufacturing environment (food processing preferred). OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification required. Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience). Knowledge of OSHA regulations, PPE requirements, incident investigations, and workplace safety programs. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Outlook. Valid driver's license with the ability to travel between facilities.
