Salary: $30 - 38 per hour Reference: JOB - 6170 Electrical Technician - 1st Shift - Morgantown, PA Shift: 1st shift and 2nd shift available (8:00am – 4:00pm & 4pm - 12am) Location: Morgantown, PA Pay: $30-$38/hour Duties & Responsibilities Interpret equipment symptoms during troubleshooting and resolve issues in a timely, professional manner Apply effective troubleshooting techniques to identify electrical and control system problems PLC troubleshooting – Allen Bradley and some Siemens Test and repair electronic and electrical equipment, circuits, and components efficiently Perform calibrations and adjustments in accordance with approved standard procedures Conduct functional testing of repaired circuit boards and components Operate and maintain standard electronic test equipment, including: Digital multimeters and VOMs Oscilloscopes Capacitance and inductance meters Meggers and amprobes Vacuum meters and semiconductor testers Maintain and update electrical and electronic schematics, including documentation of changes Manage multiple assignments and adapt to changing priorities Education & Experience Requirements High School Diploma or GED (required) Associate degree in Electronics (preferred) Minimum of 2 years of applicable electronic troubleshooting and repair experience Strong understanding of solid-state circuitry Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics Strong soldering skills Mechanical aptitude Ability to correctly use precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators Additional Requirements Willingness to work overtime as needed to meet project deadlines Ability to work weekends and holidays Ability to wear a respirator Must meet U.S. export control requirements, including ITAR and EAR regulations #LP Work Location: In person
