Local thriving, established and growing flooring company seeking a Warehouse Associate and Delivery Driver! Job Summary The Warehouse Associate & Delivery Driver handles the physical daily tasks required to keep facility running smoothly, while also acting as primary local courier. This role focuses on the heavy lifting, loading, unloading, and organizing of heavy flooring materials in the warehouse, combined with making local deliveries and transferring materials between three regional facilities. Core Responsibilities Multi-Site Material Transfers : Drive the company cargo van to safely transport materials, tools, and inventory between three local facility locations. Jobsite Deliveries : Deliver heavy flooring materials like tile pallets, hardwood planks, and carpet rolls directly to customer locations or commercial job sites. Crew Load-Out Support : Assist with the morning staging process, gather job materials, and help load heavy items into installer trucks quickly and safely. Material Handling & Receiving : Help unload incoming freight trucks, check items for visible damage, and neatly stock arriving inventory into its designated storage zones. Warehouse Upkeep : Clean the warehouse floor daily. Sweep debris, empty trash bins, and ensure aisles stay clear of tripping hazards. Material Preparation : Help measure and cut carpet, vinyl, or turf rolls to specific order sizes using manual tools or specialized cutting equipment. Vehicle Care & Safety : Safely operate the company vehicle in accordance with traffic laws, inspect the van daily for maintenance needs, and keep it clean and fueled. Qualifications & Requirements Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history.
