Responsibilities Provide attentive pet care by feeding, administering medication, and ensuring daily comfort for pets in boarding facilities Monitor pets’ health and behavior, recognizing signs of distress or illness and communicating with veterinary staff as needed Maintain a clean and sanitized environment through regular cleaning, disinfecting kennels, bedding, and common areas Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques during feeding, grooming, or medical procedures Assist with pet bathing, and basic pet daycare activities to keep animals comfortable and well-groomed Engage in outdoor activities such as walks or playtime to promote physical activity and mental stimulation Support team lifting efforts when moving large or heavy animals or supplies safely and efficiently Assist daycare team with dog events, play groups and daily activities. Requirements Prior experience with veterinary assistance, kennel work or dog daycare is highly preferred Knowledge of dog daycare and dog body language is preferred Ability to handle dogs and other animals confidently using proper restraint and handling skills Comfortable performing heavy lifting and outdoor work in various weather conditions Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members Experience with cleaning protocols related to animal care environments Team-oriented mindset with the ability to follow safety procedures diligently This role is ideal for individuals passionate about animal care who thrive in active environments.
