Great News! Berks Eye Physicians and Surgeons has decided to add to our staff of clinic professionals! We are seeking an experienced ophthalmic / optometry assistant to work in our Wyomissing office. Responsible for daily patient care and assisting physicians with patient encounters, documenting the patient exam, and facilitating the timely flow of patients in and out of exam rooms. Essential Duties: Perform ophthalmic work up, including but not limited to: Visual Acuity, Lensometry, Keratometry, Refractions, Muscle Testing, Pupil Exams, Slit Lamp Exams, Tonometry, Confrontation Fields, and Amsler Grid. Remain present during physician exam and accurately record exam notes into patient's health record. Assist physician with procedures and other medical treatments. Certification a plus, but not necessary. Experienced techs are urged to apply and join our team!
